What a week, trying to produce valid information from this mush. What's surprising is that it's a big customer, well known (I won't say who), with a live internet-based exposure. Go figure.

At Cap Gemini (europe's largest IT consultancy firm) they have a saying: "Right below the lighthouse, it's always dark", which means something like "it's a beacon for the world but not for itself". They use it for commenting on their own IT infrastructure
