All I'm having the same problem stil with Infragistics. I have had luck in the past with forcing them to do a hotfix for me. Do you have a case or incident number I can reference when I open a incident so I can hopefully make some progress with these people. I don't have any choice but to use Infra controls. This one thing is driving up a flippn wall.

ok since I seem incapable of using a message board toady.. here is what I'm trying to post to the thread..

What they told me is that they've fixed the ITypedList problem in their latest release (2008.1 ?). They worked with us to get ITypedList implemented as they had a bit of a problem with that but that's apparently solved.

You're using their very latest release and still have problems? If so: please open a ticket at infragistics first and ask them what the problem can be still.

If you're using an older release of their stuff, then... you're out of luck I'm afraid...

Hey Otis... I will have to check that I have the latest and greatest.. but I did find a rather easy way around.. I use a prefetch to load my graph - then I just call mycollection.CreateHierarchicalProjection(mydataset) - I bind that right in and works like a charm..

I didn't have the latest.. so I downloaded it to give it a test.. Here is what I can up with.. The behavior seems to be better..

The grid still shows some internal LLBL properties but they can be eaisly supressed (maybe it proper for them to be bound - I'm not sure.. its things like 'IsDirty') - then the expand button does in fact bring back the data for the child object.

But the child row also has a plus on it that seems to show the same hidden LLBL information as before.. I have attached a screen shot to show my example - anything thing that is 'Campaign*' is one of my data fields.

That sounds like it still doesn't work rage

They absolutely promissed me it worked now. They got a test solution to try it out. We told them that if they didn't fix it, we'd advice all our customers not to use infragistics but a competing control suite instead.

Could you please mail their support that it still doesn't work and that they should fix it a.s.a.p. as they promissed to do so? Thanks. (we can't do a thing about this unfortunately... )
