WTF!

They completely stole our work, copied the text from the website etc. I downloaded the client but it wouldn't surprise me if it is a malware client.

No we're not affiliated in any way with these lamers.

Analysing the crap they have on the website called their messenger, it's just a very very very poor crappy toolkit which can't do much, and they just copied texts from our website. Not llblgen pro.

So they copied some of our texts, but not code. Well, perhaps on the server side in the code generation engine, not sure, but the client-side is just very poor and is needed for the whole process.

Their features is a carbon copy of ours. But where is their tool? which one to download from teir download page?

Indeed, just a 1:1 copy. they also copied stuff from other sites.the tool is the messenger thingy, it doesn't really work well though. Their site is out of order, so the tool is too (great huh, those on-line tools ). I ran it in a virtual machine.

According to google, they actually had the text LLBLGen on their website at one point, and they still have Solutions Design.

I thought maybe they were running some sort of a hosted version (maybe their client uploads the schema, runs it through LLB, zips it up, and you can download the resulting generated code).

I don't think you're going to lose many customers from these guys, but if you think about it, it could be done quite nicely.

You mean, on-line code gen? I thought about that for a second or two, till their client refused to work because their site was down/crashing, which made the 'cloud based code gen' not something one would want

Lol, ya, I don't think anyone serious would want to go that route....I get frustrated enough editing templates and running them locally and hoping they don't crash.

I don't think anyone very serious would be interested in these guys, and only if they weren't aware of where the real product came from.

I doubt they're making any money at it anyways.....but if I was you, it would still piss me off a bit.

Editing templates can be a bit cumbersome at times indeed, I won't deny that as it's often a process of writing code, run template, check result, detect failure, go back to template, rinse repeat. It's not really something we can solve unless we can merge grammars of output and template language together and compile that as 1 source, which is something only doable using systems like Rascal on java (software analysis system of the University of Amsterdam)

Yeah, it didn't please us at all, but what can you do? They didnt reply to any email, so there's little more we can do.
