Hi

We developed a Winforms/SQL2000 application over 6 years ago for which we used an early version of LLBLGen (version 1.2). The application itself has been redundant for a while now, but rather suprisingly, we have decided to resurrect it.

This will involve modernising it to the latest .Net Framework, SQL 2008, etc, and therefore we are also looking at purchasing the latest version of LLBLGen.

Can anyone tell me what the likely problems/pitfalls that we will encounter if we upgrade LLBLGen and use it to regenerate our code. I guess what I'm really asking is:

Is LLBLGen completely backwards compatible? If not, what are the significant differences and which of them are likely to impact us the most? Is there any documentation/support you can provide for reworking our code to make use of new/improved features of LLBLGen?

Thanks for your help in advance.

You'll need to download the v.2.6 manual, and check the "Migrating your code" section.
