Hello, I am using version 2.6 of LLBLGenPro and Visual Studio 2005.

I downloaded the zip file "Example_Validation_11042008" and followed the readme instructions to: Open, compile and run solutions - "Code\Adapter\LLBLGenPro - Validation Example - Adapter.sln"

I have the Northwind database already installed.

However, I when opening the solution, I get the error "The project type is not supported by this installation".

At first I ignored the error, and tried checking references, etc., but I am unable to get a successful build. Any suggestions? I may be missing something pretty basic. Other projects run just fine, but I would like to look at some of the examples for validation.

Hi Carol,

You indeed need install the VS2005 SP1 to open/create/etc WebApplication projects (the one you have troubles).

Thank you so much. I updated my version of Visual Studio 2005 and after adding a couple of references that were not found, the build succeeded.
