I have created a new project following the tutorial on User documentation. Once I got to Compiling the generated code part, I was not able to open the Northwind.Tutorial.csproj file on VS.Net 2005.

The error is : "The selected file cannot be opened as a solution or project. Please select a solution file or a project file."

Am I missing something??

I'm using LLBGen Pro 1.0.2005.1, SQL 2005, Adapter scenario (Full / Safe) Vs.Net 2005

In my opinion, a VS.Net issue. What VisualStudio version are you using (Express, TeamFoundation, RTM..)?

Are you using source control programs (check this)

I'm using Visual Studio 2005 version 8.0.50727.42 (RTM 050727-4200)

I can't reproduce the problem Could you please - Update to the latest LLBLGen Pro 1.0.2005.1 build and try to regenerate again to a empty folder. Then try to open the project. - If above fails, try apply updates to your Visual Studio installation. Then try again to open the project.

P.S. ¿The problem occurs if you "open VS, click File, click Open project" or if you "double click the project file"?

The problem happens when I Start VS.Net 2005-> ** File **-> Open -> **Project/ Solution **-> Browse to Nortwind.Tutorial.csproj -> Open.

After I click Open, the error massage is shown.

I will try to uninstall and reinstall VS2005. What version of VS2005 do you think I should try. Would the express version work?
