What is the difference between these two languages? What are the origins of these two languages? Which one is easy to learn and use?

T4 is a MS template engine in the line of <% %> style templates like codesmith and also our .lpt template language.

our template system is task based, which means you can define hierarchical tasks which are executed in a given order. T4 works inside vs.net, and it depends on which meta-data you can consume. For LLBLGen Pro and its meta-data, use our template system and one of the languages (TDL or .lpt).
