Hi,

I'm trying to access the "Using the LLBLGen Pro v2.6 Reference manual for .NET 2.0".

I have Visual Studio 2008 on Windows Vista.

From a command prompt (opened as adminstrator), I ran: registerhelp2_2008.bat. It appeared to run ok. I looked in the Visual Studio help/contents (is this where I should expect the documentation?), but didn't see any reference to Llblgen.

Then I downloaded the .chm variant of the documenation, and running it, I do see the tree come up in the "Contents" tree pane. But with clicking on any item in the Contents pane, I alway see:

The address is not valid

Most likely causes: There might be a typing error in the address. If you clicked on a link, it may be out of date.

What you can try: Retype the address.

Go back to the previous page.

Suggestions on how I can get access to this documentation?

Thanks!

I think the chm is marked as being from an unsafe source (the internet?)

If you search the forums on "access help file" I think you'll find the solution.

Hi arschr,

Thanks for the note. The search for that key phase didn't turn up any postings, but I did check the advanced properties of the .chm file, and was able to set it as from a "safe" source...and works fine now.

Thanks!

It's in the FAQ: I can't open the LLBLGen Pro reference manual

so you couldn't have missed it wink
