I've been currently assigned the task to investigate and develop a DAL using LLBLGen Pro. Currently in the process of reading all the documentation to get a firm grasp on the app. Here is my developing goal and I'm not sure where to start. I need to develop a DAL that will be used for Reporting only, by executting stored procedures only. I will be hitting an SQL / Oracle database. I need to incorporate my DAL into a webservice or perhaps use remoting, both of which are greek to me at the moment. How do I access the functionality of the DAL via WebServices/Remoting. Any advice on how to implement such functionality would greatly apprciated. Should I use the Adapter or Self Servicing temp.? As you can see I'm a green horn, but hopfully with the help of the many brilliant developers and contributors to this forum, I'll soon graduate to a pro.
