We have started to evaluate LL and I am looking for a list of resources to help:

(Only looking at 2.0)

1) Video Tutorials for version 2.0 2) Project tutorials from basic level 1 to advanced 3) I see there is a book out for version 1.0. Is a 2.0 one planned? 4) Do purchased licenses come with custom support, or are the forums the primary place?

Thanks, Ian Vink

From the home page:

Video/Tutorials: http://www.llblgen.com/pages/tutorials.aspx

The 1.0 book is nice and 95% relevant to 2.0.

The documentation that LLBLGen comes with is great. At first, it seems like it is 'incomplete' and blah. That is because we are used to 1000 page manuals with a lot of useless information in there. If you look for it, most of the time it is in the manual.

Support - can I just say that the support is completely unbelievably awesome. You will not get better support from any organization on any product than you get here. Forums is primary place for support - and many times you can search and find the answers you need.

Good luck - this is a great product.

That's my 2-cents.

And the example projects are here

Check the HnD project, that's the source code of this forum.

And the documentation is here

As already sais, primary place are the forums. But there's also an Helpdesk-section in the forums where you get private help. So you can discuss private with the (great!) support-team.

Isn't the help-desk section now replaced with the private area of the support forums here? (where others cannot read your questions, etc).

Yes it is, as Bert has said:

I have to say I am impressed with the support so far. I posted this question 6 hours ago and have had 5 responses from both staffers and the community. That is a very good selling point for me.

Well done guys.

One last question. If Frans get abducted by aliens, is there a plan to have the product continued forward? I understand he is the main driving force behind the app?

The mars guys told me I can phone home from time to time wink Seriously: if Solutions Design can't continue the development of LLBLGen Pro anymore, we have a program in place (signed by us, stored in a save place) which will distribute the full sourcecode of the application to all customers so they can continue the usage of the application.
