Helo llblgen fans,

Is there anyone out there who would be in a position to provide me with a simple web-based contact management solution based on LLBLGEN?

My wife Anet and I run a small business in Spain and for that we need to store our customer and other relation details and a contact history. We work with three people. 1 in england and 2 in spain.

I personaly am a big fan of llblgen, so the solution we're looking for would be used for two purposes: 1. we would start using it immediately to administer our relations. 2. it would serve as a starting point for me as a newb asp.net/llblgen/c# developer.

Below I specify some functional and non-functional whishes.

If anyone feels like he/she is able/willing to supply us with a solution that gets us going, any comment would be appreciated. I think I wrote down some modest requirements, so I hope we can find a workable solution for a dito budget.

Please comment here in the forum or via email to paul 'at' reddingssloep.nl.

Looking forward to any response,

Paul

The requirements are quite modest (I hope): * enter relation details, including fields such as: - companyname, firstname, lastname, middlename, phone, email, fax, web, etc.

  • enter contact log (date, notes, contact person), creating a contact history.

  • If we have a customer/relation on the phone we need to find the relevant information rather quickly, so an easy search form would be nice.

  • For marketing activities it would be very nice if we could specify one or more tags or characteristics with each relation. This tags can be used for reporting, emailing or whatsover.

Some non-functional stuff: 1. Architecture: Anything but spaghetti! 2. Technology: ASP.NET 2.0, C#, SQL Server 3. All users know english, so .. english please. 4. The software doesn't have to be 100% idiot prove nor complete. Enhancements and improvements can and probably will be added as soon as it is actually in use! 5. The solution should be webbased, hosted at DiscountASP for example.

OK, the response was overwhelming ... NOT ...

Don't know the problem ... not an interesting topic? nobody actually has a solution or wants to deliver it? unclear question? Wrong forum?

Well ... if someone knows...

Meanwhile I put something together myself, which will help us further ...

Thanks to all readers for their attention ...

Paul

Hi Pablo,

Overwhelming response indeed! wink

Please send your expected budget range (In USD) for this project to (rob AT 7Software DOT com)...I am nearing the end of a large project and may have some time in the very near future for a project like this.

Talk soon, Rob

Rob,

thanks for the response ...

Since at first I did not get any response, I decided to try and get something done myself... we have something up-and-running. It will require some love and attention to keep everyone happy ... but for now we're fine!

So thanks for your offer to have a look at it ... but we're OK now.

Paul
