I would like to make the following humble suggestion.

There should be sortable columns in the Search results page.

Why?

Well, it makes it easier for the enduser to get data the way he/she wants it. In general, I daresay that virtually every web DataGrid should be sortable and pagable. Given that it is easy and fast and simple-- the real question is-- Why not?

I know this is easy because even I can do it.

:-)

(No-- I am not suggesting that the results should be re-fetched. Just sort what you got, dirty or not.)

The biggest holdup I see to this is that the current situation allows sorting on two columns. You can sort on forum first and then on the dates. I would imagine that is why this hasn't been done yet.
