Manager templates VS CSLA.NET

I assume they conflict with each other.

Which would be a better use of my difficult-to-find study time? Can they be used together? I'm getting started on a new project so I've got some time to make these kinds of decisions.

I didn't get a chance to use the Manager templates but the JCL framework is an implementation of CSLA.NET using LLBLGen generated code. JCL comes with extensive documentation and a complete tutorial. But you still need to learn LLBL's code (Predicates, Collections, ...) which is covered in LLBL's help documentation. To use JCL, you don't have to know CSLA although that would help. You could cut down on your study time by reading Rocky's DataPortal and BusinessManager articles (in addition to LLBL's help). Links for these two article are in JCL's documentation
