DART (www.dart.com) has a suite of ASP.NET controls that parallels Microsoft's ASP.NET server controls found in System.Web.UI.WebControls. LiveControls are both cross-browser compatible and can communicate with the server without refreshing the page. In addition, nothing is used except common DHTML/remote scripting techniques. There is no use of Flash, Java, or other plug-in technology. The Latest version 1.1.3 supports .NET version 2.0!

DART claims the controls to be the first commercially available AJAX toolkit for ASP .NET

I am thinking of this suite to be my option for ASP.NET devolopment and hoped to hear any feedback from the community if anyone has used them smile

Haven't had any experience of these controls, no.

I have just been on their website and looked at the demos though. Wow, Looks very impressive and I must say I will have to download the eval and play around with it.

This might be what I have been looking for as I have a poorly designed web page that displays pictures in a grid at the moment and when it redraws, it snaps the grid which looks crap.

Geoff.

I've been toying with the livecontrols (not yet in production). I can't find any other commercial suite - yet. Telerik.com apparently have a similar suite of controls in beta.

I find the dart controls really nice, my only objection though is their license scheme (all or nothing - and only for one site/server). As a developer I'd like to use just a few of the live controls and not have to pay for the grand suite for every implementation.

You might also want to check out http://sourceforge.net/projects/ajaxnet-library
