With a few days to go, we lost our no.1. position to DeKlarit in the MSD2D People's choice awards.

After weeks on the no.1 spot this feels pretty bad, and I'd like to ask you all who hasn't voted yet, to vote for us to get LLBLGen Pro back on the no.1 spot.

Please click here to vote for LLBLGen Pro

Thanks a lot! simple_smile

Too bad they won't let you vote more than once.. How can we reach out to some of the users that might not look at the forums constantly like I do? simple_smile

simple_smile We used the mailinglist once, 2 weeks ago. I don't want to spam all users via the email addresses they've specified as that wouldn't be nice. Oh well. Today is the last day, so I don't think we'll beat them in the overall ranking. We're alone in our category, so that's not that much of a competition wink .

Still somewhat dissapointing, considering the estimate of 4000/5000 users and just 75 votes (2 weeks ago, you would think the top runner in all categories has hundreds of votes but that appears to be much less), but what can you do simple_smile . The voting process is pretty stupid, with all the registration and all, so that will scare away a lot of people I think.

fyi, I never received an email from SD. I wonder if others haven't either. I signed up for your mailing list via the mailing list signup that I believe was on your home page. Just a thought.

Eric

P.S. I voted simple_smile

I can't believe LLBLGen Pro only got 75 votes? I wonder how many active users there are on the forum...

I couldn't believe it either simple_smile . The registration process is pretty rigid though I think it has turned away a lot of users. If you look at the applications which got far less votes..., I think we didn't do a bad job though wink .

Yea, I think the registration is what did it. I mean when they put on the rubber gloves and asked me to cough; that was a bit to much flushed frowning (but I still voted wink )

Well, the voting is over and we ended second overall, but we did win the category 'source code generators'. All of you who voted: thanks!

Something tells me the results were slightly skewed anyway. Does it really make sense that LLBLGen won the code generator class over CodeSmith? Don't get me wrong, I've never even USED CodeSmith.. but I do know it's a great code generator and, up until the most recent version, was partially free.

They weren't nominated. You could only vote on entries which were nominated...
