I noticed that when i go to other forums a little RSS icon appear in the statusbar of my firefox browser but when i come to LLBLGen's forum there is no such icon although there is RSS links.

Do you know why?

I have to add a link in the HEAD tag for that I think. I find the whole browser integration with RSS a bit weird. RSS links are best read in an RSS reader, so all you need to do is right click on the rss button -> copy shortcut, and add the feed to your rss reader of choice
