I am using LLBLGen 5.8.6 and recently installed VS 2022. I have several solutions that work fine in VS2019. When I open them in 2022 and try to add the LLBLGen Datasource to the toolbox, that fails. Nothing happens, only some buzzer sound is given.

Are LLBLGen datasources still supported in 2022? If so, how can I add them to the toolbox?

Drag and drop of the ORM dll does not work, but when you select items for the toolbox, one of them is the LLBLGenProDataSource. That seems to work. Although the issue remains that it is difficult to configure it.

Supported is a big word in this case as Microsoft themselves haven't worked on them for a decade or more... As the API the controls use hasn't changed it 'should' work, but as I said in a previous thread about these controls: they never really worked 100% in all cases, even back in the day when Microsoft still worked on them. I'd work with them in HTML, or code and not the designer as it's in general a shoddy experience... I'm sorry, there's little we can do about it as we built on the framework Microsoft has given us which isn't very solid.
