After highschool, there are two main choices for acredited higher education:
Junior College (also called Community College), where you can get a two year Associates Degree. These are usually subsidized by the government.
College/University, where you can get a four year Undergraduate Degree, then you can get an Undergraduate Degree, and then you can get your Doctors Degree. A college may be privately funded or government subsidized. Question for others: Have you ever heard of a goverment subsidized University?
I use College and University interchangeably, but some people may see a University as being a more prestegious college. Employers, however, seem to see both degrees as more or less equal in my experience.
