This has been bugging me for ages..

If like me, you have a big resolution (1600x1200), then you can change the DPI settings in control panel to make the fonts appear bigger....but it doesn't change the font size the font used within windows....Assuming you're all using IE (of coursewink ) if you goto tools, options then the font that appears in that window is tiny and hard to read....

Is there a way to change that darn font?

Display properties -> Appearance -> advanced button, click on the message text in the message box, select font.

Maks no difference to the font you get in 99% of windows though - they stay the same rage

Yeah - its a real pain!

I set the DPI to increase the font size, and in the appearance properties, set the large font and then manually set the font for the messaqe box to something bigger, but no matter what you do, you cant change that font that you get in windows thats used for most windows that contain text!?!?!?!

Not all applications use that resize feature indeed. It's one of the 'Windows XP compliant' requirements.
