Hi everyone,

LLBLGENPRO version 2.5

I have the following problem, I have a new project and the client give us all the code and is working but I dont have llbl project.

So in the old code there is a folder called Generated

I have attached one image to show how the files look like inside and the structure of the folder.

My question are:

  • how could I generate this kind of files?
  • is it a special template?

Thank you in advance for your help

Hi mjp,

Those files were generated using a third party templates: Manager Templates. You can download the templates going to CustomerArea -> v2.0 Downloads -> Third party. They are usable with v2.5 as well.

If you face problems on how to generate them or how to use them see these related threads: http://www.llblgen.com/TinyForum/Messages.aspx?ThreadID=9458 http://www.llblgen.com/TinyForum/Messages.aspx?ThreadID=5565 http://www.llblgen.com/TinyForum/Messages.aspx?ThreadID=8857

I did what you advise, anyway the structure of the folders is really different

I have attached 2 files

oldStrusture.jpg-> the old file structure newStructure.jpg-> this was generated with the 3 party template from v 2.0

Thank you for all your help, I appreciate it.

But you say you don't have the original LLBLGen project file, correct?

In this case you'll start a new project from scratch (just make sure you take backup or that you use a source control). Then using the manager templates, you may generate the code, and try to compile the solution. You might get compilation errors, because of manual settings were made in the original project, which you need to take care of.

But to save yourself a big time, I suggest asking them for the project file.

The project was created by other company 4 years ago, and is a huge project. Almost impossible to remake everything again, in addition the client just wants some small changes.

So, any options?
