Am i able to open a 2.6 project in a 3.0 solution?

As when i try i get the following error... ?

Exception message:

Exception type: XmlException Invalid character in the given encoding. Line 1, position 6.

And if so what target framework is it eqivelant to?

You should use **v2.x to v3.0 migration templates ** to migrate your project to v.3.0. The templates are available for download from the Customers area -> v.3.0 downloads.
