I have downloaded and tried the ASP.NET template, it is AWESOME!!! Thank you so much for making it. I can't wait to study it deeper.

And I've been inspired by it. I would like to create something like this with a DotNetNuke Module.

Ideally, I would have a database schema, point LLBLGen at it, click generate, and it will create all of the files needed for a DotNetNuke module, including the "info" classes for the LLBLGen Entities, and the Controller classes for the data access. This package would also include the DNN needed "manifest" file, and whatever other files are required.

All at the click of a button.

Wouldn't that be awesome?? Yeah....

Now, back to reality.

Given that I am pretty new to LLBLGen and DNN, I've got a lot to learn. Doing something like this could be a great learning exercise.

For one thing, I have no idea how the templating system works, or what I need to do.

Can you please tell me what I need to learn to turn this dream into a reality?

Start by downloading and reading the LLBLGenPro SDK manual. Then you have the TemplateStudio and its documentation.

Thank you for pointing me in the right direction. I will follow that and learn.. No doubt, questions will come up as the process continues. I'll keep us updated on the progress of the DNN Module Template
