i would like to pass a csv file name from a field

and use llblgen to import the contents of the CSV to sqlserver2005

as i am not hugely experienced with this i am looking for a little help,

You might want to take a look at FileHelpers at http://www.codeproject.com/useritems/FileHelpers.asp

There are a lot of variations of CSV and this helper project handles all kinds of text files.
