I have the 1.0.2005.1 (July 6, 2006) version of 2005 with valid license. I downloaded the Template Studio under Extras in the 1.0.2005.1 download area and unzipped the files just as the readme said, and when I ran TemplateStudio.exe, I get an exception at the splash screen saying

"The located assembly's manifest definition with name 'SD.LLBLGen.Pro.ApplicationCore' does not match the assembly reference."

The stack trace on the exception viewer shows

-----[Core exception]-------------------- at SD.LLBLGen.Pro.Tools.TemplateEditor.MainForm..ctor() at SD.LLBLGen.Pro.Tools.TemplateEditor.Startup.Main()

Can anyone help me get TemplateStudio working? I've tried seemingly everything and I cannot get TemplateStudio to run for the life of me.

Do you have 1.0.2005.1 installed on the same machine?

"Copied Wrong File"-error from our part. We previously had the files to download in 1 folder, now they're stored in separate folders, and I copied an older version to the folder, not latest one. I'll correct this a.s.a.p.

(edit): fixed. Please re-download templatestudio.

Thanks Franz! Only now I get a similar message:

"The located assembly's manifest definition with name 'Janus.Windows.UI.v2' does not match the assembly reference."

Do I have to download the new controls from somewhere else?

To Wallaa: Yes, I have 1.0.2005.1 installed

Grab the latest designer core file for the designer (full version section)

That did the trick. Thanks Franz! Just as Fyi, I had to do a repair from the msi - the .zip core didn't work, as it didn't contain the new Janus control.

Ah, indeed. I didnt' check if the archive contained the janus dlls or not, we sometimes keep the janus controls in there for a while to bridge a transition period between janus control versions.
