for what it's worth ... I just opened up an hosting account with DiscountASP.net including SQL ... it works very well for me.

I've been using CrystalTech in Phoenix for many years, and they're great.

They have a Developer Shared Hosting Plan for $2.95/month that's perfect for testing things before you go live. After that, the prices are very reasonable. The service is great, and the management tools are wonderful.

FYI, the site you were using, Hosting Buyers Guide, is HIGHLY suspect.

The links leading to the hosting providors include affliate marketing tags, meaning they make money for leading you to that host. Are they unbiased? I would doubt it.
