Ok, I feel like a newb asking these, but I haven't been keeping up.

  1. When will LLBLGen Pro Version 2 be coming out? 1a. What is the latest on Version 2 pricing? How do the discounts for version 1 users work (i.e. should I buy my own personal version 1 license now? simple_smile ) 1b. Is there a feature list for Version 2 somewhere on the site?

  2. Will/does the current version work with .Net 2.0? 2a. Will/does the current version work with SQL 2005?

I guess that's it. simple_smile

Thanks,

Phil

When It's Done (tm) wink . We have a target date of 31dec 2005, which should be the date where all the functionality should be implemented. Beta then starts, docs writing starts. This can be extended a bit, say a month or so, but not longer. So ETA, around feb/march 2006, maybe earlier.

customers of 1.0.200x.y get a 3, 4 month period to upgrade to v2.0 for 49EUR per developer. Licenses are for the designer, as always. So if your team has one person which uses / operates the designer, you need 1 license.

1b. Is there a feature list for Version 2 somewhere on the site?

No simple_smile . Our goal is to support every new feature in .NET 2.0 and vs.net 2005, and add some new features which we want to add for a long time and some new database drivers. Essential features are the full .NET 2.0 support, full Sqlserver 2005 support, including UDT's, some new db drivers and some new features I won't talk about now simple_smile

  1. Will/does the current version work with .Net 2.0? 2a. Will/does the current version work with SQL 2005?

Yes, it has a .NET 2.0 build runtime lib, support for sqlserver 2005 (no UDT's) and uses partial classes.

Not really simple_smile Most of the competition isn't rushing their v2.0 compatible products either.

though it was a bit of a joke really wink . We try to get it out the door a.s.a.p. though one thing I'll never do and that's rush because time apparently is short.
