I think he means "football". Football, the most beautiful sport ever wink , is only known as "soccer" in the U.S., who knows why.

I wonder why you call U.S. football like that. As far as I've seen, only one player is allowed to kick the ball, while the others carry it around. It's more like "carryball" or maybe "violentball" smile .

Since my beloved Yankees are not in the World Series this year I'll not bother to counter your contention that football/soccer is "the most beautiful sport ever." simple_smile

I always found US 'football' look like rugby for whimps wink . I mean, in the UK, australia, and elsewhere, they play rugby without protection, helmets and what have you, but in the US they apparently need helmets and other body protection wink
