Is the documentation available in a printable format such as a PDF? The content of the CHM file is excellent but I like to have a printed copy to refer to. I tried printing each section but some of the links don't appear to work correctly (prints the same section each time). In any case, I like to be able to print the docs with proper page breaks, etc. Thanks.

The documentation isn't available in PDF, sorry. The docs are separated .htm files, and to convert them all into 1 PDF is a bit cumbersome, as it would require a complete re-do of the markup.

I did check if the links were correct, but I might have missed some, could you please tell me which links didn't work so I can fix them?

I printed individual pages again and it worked. I think the problem was that you can't start printing one topic and switch to the next and print it. You have to wait until each one is finished before starting the next one. I'm not asking you to rewrite your documentation. I thought maybe you had it in a MS Word document and could easily create a PDF. Keep it in mind for the future. It would be nice to have a printed manual available. Thanks.

You've probably heard of it, but there's a product called RoboHelp (now a Macromedia product) that allows a developer to create HTM, CHM, Word, HTML, and PDF documentation, all from a single source. I've used it on several projects, and it really works. Has special .NET extensions that draw the documentation out of source if needed, similar to nDoc, but allowing a great many more output options. Great stuff.

Thanks for the link, Scott, I'll have a look. If only I could make the html pages to print, then I can create a pdf file, with the open source pdf printer driver. Though a single application is better I think, as it might take the chm TOC as the bookmarks index for the pdf.

(whoa 799euro!... googling on CHM to PDF I ran into some nice freebee tools. I'll check them out first )

I'll try some more and if no-one tops the 79$ price of theta software and its quality, it's a winner . It produces a 205 page PDF file out of the .chm. I never knew the documentation was so huge! (the normal docs, not the ndoc one)
