Why do I have to specify a URL to show my picture on the forum? Shouldn't I just be able to upload it? If I specify a URL to a web server on my network, is the forum always pointing to that? What if my IP address changes (don't have a static IP)?

The forum doesn't have the feature to let you upload a usericon. So either store it somewhere where it's reachable or you can't have a usericon. I can upload it to a server, if you want. Just mail it to me and I'll take care of it. It's more of a nice thing for the forum, but not really required IMHO.

I didn't add an upload facility to save me from the fact that I have to screen every file uploaded.
