hi I'm considering upgrading to 3.0 however i'm curious on a few key facts i.e. ...

1) Are there any strong performance improvments in version 3 to justify an upgrade from 2.6? 2) Can i use my old 2.6 project in it since its now changed to an XML format 3) I've downloaded the demo but dont fully understand the target framework options on a new project, what are these ?

Thanks Paul

v3 was mainly about the designer. We tweaked a couple of things, but not major stuff in the 3.0 runtime.

Yes, the lgp file is left untouched. The conversion template generates a new file to be used as project file for v3.

Which options exactly? Which target framework to choose or the output setting values? The settings per framework are described in the manual for that framework.
