It looks that many products have gone free, and that they all seem from the marketing level to do the same thing.

What I'd like to know is what has everyone worked with and the pro's and con's of them. Each product has its strengths and its weaknesses, as nothing is perfect its always a compromise.

I've briefly looked at codesmith and nettiers now. And have looked at the marketing of lblgen, entityspaces, nhibernate, and have seen links for many others

What sets these apart? Why would someone want to use llblgen over nettiers or what is easier in nettiers then in llblgen. Is it maintenance, implementation, design, ease of making changes in real time, flexibility.

What are your thoughts?
