why Typed lists?

Typed lists vs database view?

database view can do what Typed Lists can do 1 so why have typed lists? 2 why not just create a database view then map the database view to typed view? 3 where is typed list used?

thanks daelmo from the information.

There would be no need to use a TypedList

best to use a database view / typedview!!
