Is there a way of getting Active Threads as a RSS feed? It's the button I use the most to scan the forums for new posts I could learn from or (but much less often) have the capability to contribute to.

Would be a nice feature, so I can include it on my iGoogle page.

Active threads isn't an RSS feed as it changes a lot, which means that the feed will always produce a different feed to your RSS reader. That will not only create a lot of bandwidth usage but also that the RSS readers will show 'new' messages most of the time which aren't. Also, items are removed from it (when they're marked done) and that's also something which confuses RSS readers
