Does anyone have any advice of doing this?

I use LLBL to do the data access layer for my CMS, so naturally it would be nice if I could write some code to automatically write dynamic sitemaps that I can use with the default ASP.NET navigation controls and Telerik menu controls.

I've only ever used static .sitemap files for this in the past, so the answer might be really simple and obvious

You should create a custom SiteMap Provider.
