As described on my blog:
http://weblogs.asp.net/fbouma/archive/2008/05/01/dynamic-data-and-3rd-party-o-r-mappers-is-a-fact.aspx
we are working together with Microsoft to make LLBLGen Pro work properly with MS Dynamic Data, their upcoming ASP.NET dynamic site system.
The package we sent to MS for testing is now available for you too in the customer area: Login with your v2.x customerid/password and go to the 2.6 section.
Be sure you read the description with the item, I've copied it below for convenience. Also please read the readme enclosed in the package.
Be aware that it's a preview, it's not final code.
The preview package for how to use Microsoft's Dynamic Data with LLBLGen Pro.
Requirements:
- MS Dynamic Data installed, latest public CTP
- VS.NET 2008/.NET 3.5
The package comes with a readme which includes a step by step tutorial.
How to install:
- create a copy of your v2.5 or v2.6 beta installation
- unpack the archive into this folder overwriting existing files.
The package contains slightly (couple of days) older v2.6 beta runtime/templates. Therefore if you have the v2.6 beta installed, you should make a copy of that folder for testing out this Dynamic Data preview
Feedback: please use the v2.6 beta forum.
