In both LLBLGenPro 2.5 and the TemplateStudio 2.5, there is the Generate/Start Generator (button).

I'm trying to understand the difference between these two "generates"...

So far, I noticed that in LLBLGenPro, when the "generation" is done, a status log (of the generation) is displayed, but no status log appears in TemplateStudio.

Could you explain the difference between these two "generates"?

The generate button in the template studio is not suited for a production environment, I mean, you use the template studio to develop and adjust the templates, and you can generate the code from there to avoid the swap between IDE's. But once you've finished adjusting the templates is advisable to generate from the designer instead.
