Well, it can be anything. We have a 4hours on site 24/7 support contract with them, so if the server goes down again, they'll replace the motherboard. We've decided to move llblgen.com a.s.a.p. to a shared hosting environment, hopefully that's done before the end of the week.

I was wondering why you didnt use a shared hosting from the beginning? Or maybe a virtual private server, dont know if they have those on a windows envrioment though.

I use a VPS, but its on a Linux machine of course simple_smile

I am hoping that mono will become mature and of course llblgen will run on it simple_smile

The problem was our CMS which is IIS, COM based. (ASP stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye ). Due to that we have had a co-located server since 1998. First homemade, then a dell box (1U, poweredge 1650). We didn't have problems till last week. (we had a problem before but that was fixed). However it is a point of failure we'd like to eliminate and we have found a solution for the CMS problem: the site already uses a .NET viewer for the content (written with llblgen pro) however the backend is still asp with COM components. We can however now do content management locally and simply update the db online with a red-gate software tool which creates diff scripts, very easy simple_smile

Our hosting provider is the largest windows hoster in the netherlands (around 30,000 sites on win2k3 boxes stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye ) and their support is excellent so I hope we are on their big iron win2k3 boxes by the end of the week.
