Minor look and feel issue. After installing 5.0.1 for first time, opened designer. Welcome screen has word cut in half. (see attached)

System has 4 monitors, 2 with 1920x1200, 1 2616 x 1440 (main surface pro 3), 1 1600 x 900 usb attached.

Does not matter which display I move the designer too, same look.

It could be due to the text size configured in Screen Resolution in your Display Settings. Could you tell us what is the configuration for text size that you have there?

screen size settings might be it, but it's weird though. I can't reproduce it on Windows 8.1 no matter what text size I pick in screen resolution text sizes, even custom sizes make the text scale properly.... disappointed

Is the rest of the UI also garbled or is that resized properly?

The controls is an XtraScrollableControl from DevExpress, v15.2.7.0. It might be we use a hotfix build for 15.2.7.0 and you have installed 15.2.7.0 without the hotfix, but this is speculation, as I don't remember anymore whether we used a hotfix build or not, I can't find evidence it's a hotfix build although we did use one in the past for a fix for HiDPI issues like this one. .NET loads assemblies from the GAC no matter whether they're right there in the app folder, if they're in the gac, so if we used a hotfix build and you don't and you have 15.2.7.0 installed that might be the cause but it's a tiny chance that is the reason. The build we have is from March 8th. Other than that, I have no idea. I'll try on Windows 10 as well to see whether it's related to that...

I have devx 15.2.9 installed, but that shouldn't conflict. I am running Windows 10 on that machine and am accessing it via remote desktop.

I don't have any custom text scaling enabled.

Ok, and directly, not via remote desktop? The DPI is the same on the machine you're accessing and the machine you're accessing from?

Problem is RDP which is very flaky regarding font scaling. This might help: http://blog.falafel.com/remote-desktop-on-a-high-dpi-screen/ (but I have not tested it). If it doesn't help, there's little we can do, I'm afraid.

Installed v5.01 on machine with monitors physically attached. Scaling is ok there, so you can close this ticket.
