I need to run the old project to evaluate this.

This project uses LLBGEN Pro 2.6.

Is it possible to get a one-month trial license for LLBGEN Pro 2.6? If we decide to continue development, is it possible to buy the license for LLBGEN Pro 2.6?

And where can I download version 2.6?

Thanks

Hi Jacob. You can't access a v2.6 trial. Anyway, I will pass thread to the LLBLGen Team, so they can advise you on this.

As far as I can tell: no

When you purchase a license for the current version (in this case v5.x) you can access to older version downloads in your customer area.

Trials are for the latest version only.

Hi Otis,

Thank you for your message.

Any ideas what we can do in this situation?

How can we run 2.6 version?

Though what's there to evaluate, if I may ask: is LLBLGen Pro the tool for you or not, that's what the evaluation/trial is for. So why evaluate a version that's 10 years old, so we don't do that.

If you need a v2 license, you can get one, but after purchasing a v5 license. Besides, I think I know why you want a v2 trial, and I have to tell you: you can't use software made with the trial in production.

I have a new scenario for you simple_smile

We are IT outsource company. We have a new potential customer. Our customer has a project, which uses LLBLGen 2.6.

And our company need to decide, if we can continue development of the 10 year project.

That is why we need trial.

Please, advice. I know that our customer has license. Can they get license for us and then revoke?

Not sure what you mean by this, but if you mean: can they cancel a license later on (so you do the work, use our software and then don't pay anything) then I have to answer: no. They can get a license for you, of course, a v2 if you want, but they can't cancel the license later on. That would be the same as they ask you to do work for them, you give them your software and they don't pay you. simple_smile

I understand your position, but if you need to do work for them, you can use their license if they want you to, otherwise you have to obtain your own license (either through them, or buy your own).

Ok. I have a license for the latest version.

How can I get a downgrade?
