QueryableExtensionMethodsCountColumnTSource, TColumnType Method (IQueryableTSource, ExpressionFuncTSource, TColumnType)

returns the number of values in the set specified by selector which is 1 column wide.

The number of values.

Usage Note

In Visual Basic and C#, you can call this method as an instance method on any object of type IQueryableTSource. When you use instance method syntax to call this method, omit the first parameter. For more information, see Extension Methods (Visual Basic) or Extension Methods (C# Programming Guide).
Remarks
doesn't apply DISTINCT to the set to count. If you want the total of distinct values, use the overload which accepts a boolean.
