returns the number of distinct values in the set specified by selector which is 1 column wide

Parameters

source
Type: System.LinqIQueryableTSource
The source.
selector
Type: System.Linq.ExpressionsExpressionFuncTSource, TColumnType
The selector. A projection function to apply to each element.
applyDistinct
Type: SystemBoolean
if set to true, DISTINCT is applied on the set to count.

Type Parameters

TSource
The type of the source.
TColumnType
The type of the column type.

Return Value

Type: Int32
The number of distinct values.

Usage Note
