AdapterExtensionMethods.FetchFirstAsync<TEntity> Method (IDataAccessAdapter, EntityQuery<TEntity>)

Async variant of FetchFirst<TEntity>(IDataAccessAdapter, EntityQuery<TEntity>). Fetches the first entity of the set returned by the query and returns that entity, if any, otherwise null.

The query.

Type Parameters

TEntity: The type of the entity.

Return Value

Type: Task<TEntity>
the first entity in the resultset, or null if the resultset is empty.

Usage Note

In Visual Basic and C#, you can call this method as an instance method on any object of type IDataAccessAdapter. When you use instance method syntax to call this method, omit the first parameter.
