MetaDataStoreGetOrCreateSequence Method

Gets or creates a new sequence for the database with the driverid specified. If catalog and / or schema aren't available these are created as well.

Parameters

driverID
Type: SystemString
The driver ID.
catalogName
Type: SystemString
Name of the catalog.
schemaName
Type: SystemString
Name of the schema.
sequenceName
Type: SystemString
Name of the sequence.

Return Value

Type: DBSequence
the new sequence created or null if meta-data wasn't found or null if the schema's syncsource is set to 'Database'.
