Parameters
- catalogName
- Type: SystemString
Name of the catalog. Ignored if containingSequence isn't null. - schemaName
- Type: SystemString
Name of the schema. Ignored if containingSequence isn't null. - containingSequence
- Type: SD.LLBLGen.Pro.DBDriverCoreDBSequence
The containing sequence. Can be null if the name is for a new sequence. If not null, catalogName and
schemaName are ignored - nameToValidate
- Type: SystemString
The name to validate. - checkForDuplicates
- Type: SystemBoolean
if set to [check for duplicates]. - errorText
- Type: SystemString
The error text.
Return Value
Type:
Boolean
true if the name is a valid table name, false otherwise
Remarks If the name already exists as sequence, the name is considered valid. If the name already exists as table, view or stored procedure,
the name is considered invalid.
