QueryableExtensionMethods.StandardDeviation<TSource, TColumnType> Method (IQueryable<TSource>, Expression<Func<TSource, TColumnType>>)
returns the standard deviation over the column specified by selector.

The source.
selector

The type of the column type.

Return Value

Type: Double
The standard deviation over the values in the column specified by selector.

Usage Note

In Visual Basic and C#, you can call this method as an instance method on any object of type IQueryable<TSource>. When you use instance method syntax to call this method, omit the first parameter. For more information, see Extension Methods (Visual Basic) or Extension Methods (C# Programming Guide).
Remarks
doesn't apply DISTINCT. If you want the standard deviation over only distinct values, use the overload which accepts a boolean.
