Training Materials

I've recently convinced another client to adopt LlblGen as their new enterprise OR/M (This makes 2). A side-effect of this is that I now need to bring ~10 developers up to speed.

Has anyone compiled a package of training materials that they would be willing to share with me? I can certainly compile a list of examples, write some llblgen code while using the projector, etc. but I hardly have the time to do much more than this.

Let me know.

Thanks,

I don't know about a compiled package, but I have seen people getting ready in this way:

**1. Getting started **section of the **LLBLGenPro Help **: http://www.llblgen.com/pages/files/LLBLGenPro.chm 2. Tutorials: http://www.llblgen.com/pages/tutorials.aspx 3. Examples: http://www.llblgen.com/pages/examples.aspx

I think a package isn't necessary as all the information are in three links the people have to check.

Hope helpful wink

Thanks. Thats what I'm going to do in lieu of a more formalized "packet" of training materials. Just thought I'd throw it out there to see if anyone had put in the time/effort and was willing to share (in this age of open source goodness).

You could consult one of our partners (if there's a partner near where you're stationed) to get training on-site (see: http://www.llblgen.com/Pages/partners.aspx) , or you could give your developers a couple of days to create a data-driven application from scratch using llblgen pro. In general that works the best: with the examples as guidelines how to do basic things, together with the 'how do I' section in the manual and the examples in the manual, it's the easiest way to get started with the core concepts of entities, querying, saving etc.
