Does the manager template exist for LLBL V2? How can I access them? I have tried with SVN to connect to svn /www.sd.nl/LLBLGenPro/Templates but get a security exception :-(

It should still be accessable (I can access it without problems). The templates aren't ported yet to v2 so they're not usable with v2 yet (they might work, but need a migration to the new template system anyway). They will be ported in due time.

Seriously, I have done some custom templates in CodeSmith, but I was interested in trying to transition to the LLBL template system and beef up my templates a bit. I know nothing about the LLBL custom templates yet -- should I wait until the v2 templates are out or can I start with the current version for now to start moving forward? Would there be a lot of changes if I started now?

My estimation is that it won't take a lot of changes to get it running. the only thing is: as we didn't write the templates ourselves, the biggest struggle will be to check what the templates do and what we've to do to port it.

If you guys are doing that - is that something you are going to start supporting going forward? You going to write TestFixtures and such for them too?

They'll stay in the 3rd party, non-supported, corner. So they'll be ported (as the original author left his employer so doesn't work with llblgen pro anymore), as in: they'll be made runnable on v2.0.

I know that you had already mentioned in other threads that dates are yet not decided for release of those (LLBL) templates for V2, still can I ask about your tentative plan so that I can plan accordingly

There's no plan at the moment to update them on a very short notice (read: as in the coming weeks). It might be though that it's an easy job, I've no idea, I have never used them.

I'll mail you the template archive. Most work to use them with v2 IMHO is to convert the config files (for template set and generator config) to the v2.0 constructs.
