I'm trying to get a trial key for version 4.1. I would like to try it before I buy a license. This is the version we have at work. Unfortunately the current version's trial key does not work with the 4.1 version unless I'm doing something wrong. Will the new version do anything to the files that will prevent the users of the 4.1 version from using them? What is the best way to resolve my trial dilemma? Thanks!

Trial versions are there to see whether the application is something you'd like to use. As you already use it at work, I don't see why you'd like an old version's trial key, of which you can't download the installer for anyway (as the trial version is the latest v5.0 build)

Could you answer me please why you'd want an old version's trial key if you already have that version at work? If you purchase v5 you can get a v4 license key without charge, and you have access to v4.x builds through the website (latest version of v4.1 or v4.2, source etc.)

Actually I don't use it at work. Other people at my work do. We only have a specific number of licenses and I am not one of the users that have one so I am not allowed to use the product. I can only see the end result of what LLBL Gen does not everything that goes into it. To make the case to add licenses for my team, it would help to be able to use the product especially under our current working conditions. When I tried the version 5 license key on the version 4.1 product, it did not work.

As you already have licenses, you can determine from that whether v4.1 (or other version) is sufficient for your situation or not, why would you need specifically v4.1, a version that's at least 3 years old(!), to determine whether you could use LLBLGen Pro or not?

Besides, I'm sorry but we don't give out trial licenses to old versions, only the latest version. There's no v4.1 trial installer available anymore.
