Before you proceed, please note that you should NOT use any download accelerator when downloading the .msi file, as this can lead to corrupted downloads and install problems. If you have any problems with downloading from the primary location, please use our mirror download location, mentioned below.
If you're a Windows Vista user, please read the Known Issues section below how to install the demo on Windows Vista without problems.

Requirements
Below are the requirements for the demo version of LLBLGen Pro. The requirements for the various databases are only required if you actually use one or more of these databases. So if you just use SqlServer or MS Access, you don't need to install any provider as these are build into .NET. For example, if you're using Oracle 9i, you only need to install ODP.NET 9.2.x.x and you're set.
- .NET 2.0 or higher on the system on which you use the designer.
- If you want to use Oracle: ODP.NET v9.2.0.7 (or higher) or ODP.NET 10g/11g v10.2 (or higher) (free downloads from Oracle).
- If you want to use PostgreSql 7.4+/8.x: the Npgsql provider, available at the PostgreSql website. LLBLGen Pro comes with the Npgsql .NET provider dll for .NET 2.0 as the Npgsql provider doesn't install itself in the GAC. To use the generated code in your own project, be sure to either download the latest Npgsql .NET provider for .NET 1.x or .NET 2.0, depending on the target platform of your code.
- If you want to use IBM DB2 UDB: the IBM DB2 .NET provider, which ships with the latest ClientAccess / DB Connect for DB2, with the DB2 personal edition database v9.x, or with the DB2 RT Client. Easiest way to download this provider: download the DB2 Runtime client lite which includes the .NET provider. Click here to get to the download page for that package.
- If you want to use Firebird: the v2.0 provider for .NET 2.0
- If you want to use MySql: v4 or v3.55.22 or higher of the MySqlDirect provider of CoreLab.
- If you want to use Sybase iAnywhere (ASA), the Sybase .NET 2.0 provider, v10.0.1.34152 or higher
- If you want to use Sybase Adaptive Server Enterprise (ASE), the Sybase .NET provider for ASE v1.1.5
Demo limitations
30 days after installation, the demo will stop functioning and if you want to continue working with LLBLGen Pro you should purchase per seat licenses.
Code generated with the demo may not be used after the trial period.
Included functionality
The demo is fully functional and it comes with the LLBLGen Pro drivers for SqlServer 7/2000/2005/2008/Express/SqlServerCE, Oracle 8i/9i (ODP.NET), Firebird 1.x/2.x, Oracle 10g/11g (ODP.NET), MS Access 2000/XP/2003/2007, IBM DB2 UDB 7.x/8/x/9/x, Oracle 8i/9i/10g/11g (Microsoft), PostgreSql 7.4+/8.x, MySql 4.x/5.x (CoreLab), Sybase ASE and Sybase ASA, the full template sets for C# and VB.NET for all drivers and full documentation.
No access to a database?
If you do not have access to an SqlServer/Oracle/PostgreSql/DB2/Firebird/MySql system or to an MS Access database file, you can download a free install of MSDE 2000 from this URL: (75MB) http://www.asp.net/msde/default.aspx?tabindex=0&tabid=1 and try to test LLBLGen Pro with that installation, as it comes with Northwind as example database. You can also download the SqlServer Express edition or one of the Oracle or DB2 express editions.

Known issues
Windows Vista: If you're going to install the demo on Microsoft Vista, you'll be asked to give permission to run the installer due to UAC. Simply click Allow and the installer will run successfully. It requires admin privileges to install the demo.
